HOOQ, Asia's Over-the-Top (OTT) TV service by Singtel in partnership with Sony Pictures Television and Warner Bros. Entertainment has selected Prime Focus Technologies (PFT), the Mumbai-headquartered technology subsidiary of Prime Focus, a media services company, to help package and deliver its content across India, Indonesia, Philippines and Thailand. PFT provides digital content solutions to media and entertainment companies.

HOOQ will leverage PFT's CLEAR Operations Cloud, a Hybrid Cloud-enabled Media ERP Suite that will enable speed of delivery as content exists in different formats, varied quality standards and contain various features such as subtitles, dubs and edits. As part of the deal, CLEAR Operations Cloud will manage key workflows including content processing and packaging. The solution initially includes managing over 20,000 hours of Indian and Hollywood content for HOOQ.

HOOQ plans to deliver both Hollywood blockbusters and television series, as well as popular local movies and programs to customers anytime, anywhere by enabling them to stream and download their favorite shows on their device or platform of choice.
