Huawei, Friday announced that it has completed the full-scale modernization of the leading Danish operator, TDC’s mobile network in Denmark. Huawei said that it was selected by TDC in 2013 to both modernize and manage TDC’s mobile network, in a contract that spans a six year period. Huawei's delivery also covers the three Component Carrier - Carrier Aggregation (3CC CA) trial that was completed on the network, recording a peak throughput rate of up to 440 Mbps.
Huawei said that the modernization of TDC's network saw the data traffic over the network increasing by 130 percent, and customer satisfaction improving by 10 percent. Huawei added that by working closely with TDC, it has greatly improved the end user experience for TDC's customers in Denmark, and will continue to look for new approaches to deliver further value. According to Huawei, the performance of the TDC network also ranked number one in Denmark in an independent evaluation conducted by the P3 Group in February 2015.
