Telstra today launched two new Digital Media solutions - Online Video Solution and Content Delivery - designed to enable organizations to achieve a better end user experience and maximum business results. Ooyala, a leading video innovator and a Telstra subsidiary, will power the Online Video Solution, combining Ooyala’s video publishing and analytics technologies with a number of Telstra value added services.

According to Telstra, the Online Video Solution creates a simplified content distribution method to web, mobile and social channels – whether it’s live or on-demand content – while analytics optimize viewer engagement and ad placement in near real time.

The Content Delivery offer, meanwhile, will be provided by Akamai, offering customers a comprehensive suite of optimization and security technologies to accelerate their online service and website performance for end users, while also protecting content services against online threats.
