SoftServe, a global technology solutions company that provides software product and application development and services, collaborates with Intel to develop Internet-of-Things(IoT) platforms and image recognition systems using the Intel Edison Platform, Intel’s development board.

Softserve said that it is leveraging the Intel Edison Platform to lower the barriers to entry for quick prototyping and productizing the connected computing devices driving the next industrial revolution. Intel® Edison technology was designed specifically for the makers and creators of connected devices and combines a small, powerful, adaptable hardware platform and partner-enabled ecosystem with extended software compatibility and supportive online environment. According to SoftServe, it will use Intel Edison for developing cutting-edge image recognition and detection solutions as well as utilize it as an extension for its current IoT solutions.
