Tier 1 Operator Selects Voipfuture to Monitor VoLTE Traffic

Voipfuture announced today that it has received an order from a Tier 1 operator to deploy its high-end media monitoring solution for assuring the quality on its VoLTE traffic. The order follows a successful IMS implementation and Voipfuture said that its monitoring solution was chosen for its unique technology which boasts assessment based on fixed 5-second time slices.

According to Voipfuture, the monitoring solution covers all standard VoIP services including NGN, IMS and LTE networks. The integration of the solution into existing IT infrastructures is eased through the use of off-the-shelf server hardware from major vendors, said the company. In addition to its unique ability to correlate air interface events and media quality, the voipfuture monitoring solution helps the service provider to detect VoLTE network issues and supports fast and efficient troubleshooting.

Voipfuture said that it develops technology for monitoring and analyzing media quality in IP networks - to control and evaluate network performance and the quality of Voice over IP services. Reading all RTP, RTCP, and SIP packets of all streams enables the company's solutions to deliver the most detailed picture of service quality and quality of experience available, it added.

Eyal Ullert, Voipfuture Manager
For the whole team it really is pleasing to receive not only new orders, but renewals on existing orders. If it is extended into VoLTE, one key areas of the coming years, it is even more gratifying.
