Apigee, developer of an intelligent API platform for digital business, Tuesday announced that its partner ecosystem is expanding to support Apigee's intelligent API platform deployments. Leading consulting and technology companies including Cognizant, HCL Technologies, Infosys, ITOCHU Techno-Solutions, Persistent Systems, Syntel, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro have joined Apigee's partner program, adding to its existing relationships with organizations such as SAP and the GSMA. Apigee is developing relationships with these companies to help implement, operate, and support customers that are deploying Apigee's intelligent API platform.

According to Apigee, partners help enterprises use APIs and Apigee's technology to become digital businesses. Last year, Apigee formed an OEM and reseller agreement with SAP to deliver solutions that help clients more easily build mobile applications and connect enterprise systems. And more recently, the company has extended its partnership with the GSMA by joining GSMA's Mobile Connect Accelerator program.
Apigee said that many companies today are embracing digital business technologies such as APIs to help securely share their enterprise data and deliver new value for customers across mobile apps and other digital channels. APIs provide the underlying digital "glue" that securely connects mobile applications to each other and to the underlying data.

Chet Kapoor, CEO, Apigee
Our mission is to make every business a digital business, and our growing ecosystem of partners is helping us. Businesses across industries are looking for modern, API-centric platforms to drive new digital channels and deliver new customer experiences. We look forward to continuing to work with our partners such as SAP, along with recognized systems integrators, to scale and accelerate our global reach.
