The OpenDaylight Project, a community-led and industry-supported open source platform with the goal of enhancing Software-Defined Networking (SDN) and Network Functions Virtualization (NFV), has organized its first OpenDaylight Forum in India. The event which is aimed at fostering collaboration between the networking industry, users and open source communities on the OpenDaylight SDN platform, will take place in Bengaluru from the April 22nd to April 23rd of this year.
According to OpenDaylight project, the two-day forum will be filled with technical presentations and tutorials that will address everything from OpenDaylight fundamentals to building apps on the OpenDaylight controller to integration of OpenDaylight with other open source projects. The forum will include over 20 sessions including presentation on OpenDaylight Open vSwitch Database Integration Project, OpenDaylight App Development Prototype, Service Function Chaining, SDN Application, and Policy Framework for OpenDaylight Architecture.
Due to their depth of content and attendance from broad community, OpenDaylight Forums and Summits are recognized as leading SDN events for technical professionals. We are pleased to bring the OpenDaylight Forum to India for the first time where we've seen a large vibrant technical community that is interested in open source SDN. I am thrilled at the quality of the presentations that have been submitted and expect great things from this community in the future.
