India's leading IT firm, Wipro, has entered into a strategic partnership with Orga Systems, a leading software vendor in the real-time charging and billing segment for a pre-integrated BSS (Business Support Systems) solution. The partnership sees the bundling of Wipro’s Open MVNO Telco-in-a-box solution, covering its BSS infrastructure, design principles and solution capabilities with Orga Systems’ products - GOLD Convergent Charging and Billing and GOLD Catalog and Order Management - delivering an integrated solution that will help Operators launch and manage their services for end-subscribers.
According to Wipro, its Open MVNO ‘Telco-in-a-box' is a differentiated solution which caters to Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and Communication Service Providers (CSPs) in the mobile and fixed broadband spaces and in the prepaid and postpaid segments. Wipro's solution also boasts features such as a self-care portal, CRM, Reporting and Telco Business Process Library (TBPL), and also covers the management of the overall integration.
The integrated solution by both companies, said Wipro, will enable Operators to launch innovative products and services with a faster time to market, and simplifies their IT managment while reducing their operating expenses. At the same time, the solution obviates the need for extensive customization, offering open interfaces that are compatible in any IT environment.
