Aviat Networks, the leading expert in microwave networking solutions, has announced a contract valued at approximately $9 million with a leading North American regional mobile operator to deliver all-indoor IRU 600 microwave radios and turnkey integration services to build out the backhaul network for the mobile operator's Western Region.

November last year, Aviat Networks has delivered an enhanced version of its IRU 600 microwave radio designed specifically for mission-critical networks in North America, which according to Aviat improves output power to more than five times compared to the high power IRU 600 model.
