Radisys Corporation, the services acceleration company, has announced that it has been working with Oracle to offer communications service providers (CSP) a comprehensive, scalable, multi-service delivery solution for VoLTE, WebRTC, and other real-time services.

Radisys, a gold level member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), said that as part of the offering, Oracle Communications Converged Application Server has been certified with Radisys’ virtualized Media Resource Function (vMRF) and MPX-12000.

According to Radisys, when integrated, these products can offer application developers and service providers reduced time-to-market and lower development and deployment costs for multimedia services such as unified communications, WebRTC-enabled contact centers, and many other media rich services. In addition, Oracle Communications WebRTC Session Controller has been certified to be interoperable with Radisys’ high performance audio and video transcoding solutions, delivering increased scale for IMS/VoLTE interworking with new WebRTC clients and services, added Radisys.

Radisys is pleased to work with Oracle on the integration of our industry-leading MediaEngine product portfolio with the Oracle Communications Converged Application Server and WebRTC Session Controller platforms. Last year, we announced Radisys’ WebConnect JAVA to ease integration with Java-based application server platforms. This was a crucial commitment to facilitate our work with Oracle, and allowed us to offer a comprehensive solution that enables mobile operators to develop innovative, differentiated VoLTE, WebRTC, and multimedia services faster.
