Serbian operator Telekom Srbija has signed an agreement to implement Ericsson's software suite, Charging and Billing in One solution, for its residential and corporate mobile and fixed-line subscribers, enabling the completion of the transformation of its business support systems (BSS).

According to Ericsson, the implementation is the final step in a transformation process that began in 2011 and will provide the Serbian operator the flexibility to offer a wide range of promotions, discounts, incentive programs, targeted campaigns, cross-service bundles and differentiated tariffs to its customers and also allowing them to have full real-time control over their spending.

Ericsson said that its charging and billing solutions are currently supporting more than 2 billion subscribers worldwide. Charging and Billing in One allows service providers to manage the end-to-end business for all types of customers and partners in a single, convergent system and provides charging and billing for all services - voice and data, fixed and mobile.

Predrag Culibrk, CEO, Telekom Srbija
As the leading telecom operator in Serbia, we always aim to provide our subscribers with services and solutions that will enhance their experience. We are glad that together with Ericsson we will implement such an advanced business support system enabling us to meet expectations of our customers and to follow market trends.

Nunzio Mirtillo, Head of Region Mediterranean, Ericsson
This latest project is a continuation of our partnership with Telekom Srbija in BSS. Ericsson is the market leader in the domain convergent charging and billing solutions, and we expect that our solutions will help Telekom Srbija in achieving a better customer experience.
