Indian Mobile Wallet Provider MobiKwik Partners Jabong.com for Online Payments

MobiKwik, India's leading mobile wallet service provider has partnered with Jabong.com to provide mobile payment services to the e-commerce site’s customers to tap into India’s rapidly growing segment of smartphone users. The partnership will see Jabong offering its customers discounts when they pay using Mobikwik. Jabong.com is an Indian fashion and lifestyle e-commerce portal, selling apparel, footwear, fashion accessories, beauty products, fragrances, home accessories and other fashion and lifestyle products.

MobiKwik has already integrated with over 20,000 e-commerce players and claims to have 12 million registered users with a total of 12 million transactions a month.

In the mobile wallet service space, MobiKwik competes with Paytm, Oxigen and Citrus in India. Through the mobile wallet, a pre-paid account can be created on the phone and money will be added which then can be used for internet banking, card, or payments at retail outlets or for transferring money.
