With the recent enhancements made to its Open CHannel family of products, SEVEN Networks®, a technology leader in mobile traffic management and optimization software, provides operators one of the most flexible deployment options. By providing operators three deployment options, that is the hosted version, the cloud version and the plug-and-play in-network version, operators can deploy the Open Channel platform regardless of the size and maturity of their operations. This means that operators can now have a cost-effective and easy to deploy solution to manage signalling traffic from Android devices using Open Channel's flagship product, the Open Channel Signalling Optimization. Using the client component installed on the mobile handsets, the product reduces the signalling traffic by transparently detecting redundant traffic patterns and caching unnecessary network requests and connecting to the network only when updates are available.
