Acision, the global leader in mobile engagement services and an industry innovator in WebRTC technology, has announed several enhancements to its forge by Acision platform and unveiled the forge Software Development Kit (SDK) to provide a suite of APIs and SDKs for enterprise cloud-based messaging, voice and video service.
Acision said that it will also introduce its first fully self-service developer portal, providing instant access to the forge SDK's APIs and also Acision's Application-to-Person(A2P) messaging services. After signing up for an account via a few simple steps, developers can trial and go live with enterprise-grade, rich and real-time communication capabilities in their own mobile or web apps, such as SMS and IP messaging, voice and video chat and presence, all fuelled by WebRTC technology.
The company will also leverage MindMatics Secure Messaging that it acquired last year, integrating A2P messaging services with multi-factor authentication and one-time password capabilities into the forge platform. According to Acision, the forge SDK also supports push notifications and will soon include integration with Office 365, LinkedIn and the leading customer identity management platform, Janrain.
