Redknee Solutions Inc., a leading provider of business-critical billing and charging software and solutions for communications service providers (CSPs), announced that a Tier 1 APAC operator has selected Redknee's latest release of its Policy Management solution to launch Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services. The solution will enable the operators to offer innovative data plans and services while delivering an advanced customer experience.
To support the launch of LTE services, such as VoLTE and multimedia services, and partnerships with Over-the-Top providers, service providers are moving away from 'all you can eat' data plans as they focus on providing highly contextualized and personalized pricing plans to their subscribers, such as those based on quality of service, location or time of day.
