Italian ISP 'Enter' Joins OpenStack-based European Cloud Team Alliance

Enter, a leading Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Italy, is joining the Cloud Team Alliance, the first multi-regional European cloud service based on OpenStack, joining a number of european carriers and cloud providers which includes Numergy in France, Proximus in Belgium, KPN in the Netherlands and Portugal Telecom in PortugalThe Cloud Team Alliance was founded in June 2013 by Proximus and Numergy, a French company specializing in Cloud computing infrastructure. The Cloud Team Alliance is based on Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) cloud platform that provides on-demand computing, storage and networking services, to dynamically run workloads across different European regions, via API or Graphical User Interfaces, on a pay-as-you-go basis. 

At the same time, Enter's subsdiary, Cloudup launches the first Italian Pay-As-You-Go service using OpenStack's public cloud infrastructure.
