Insteon Unveils New IoT Hub for Smart Devices in Connected Home

Insteon, creators of the world’s premier home automation and control technology, today announced a new central controller for all the smart devices in a connected home, Insteon Hub. The IoT hub that is field upgradable, easy setup and hs an improved wireless range, is priced at $39.99. Common applications for the Insteon Hub include communicating lights, thermostats, sensors and much more. Insteon lets you reliably control your things remotely from smartphones, tablets, laptops and desktops. Dual-band Insteon signals communicate simultaneously via radio waves and a home’s electrical wiring.

The new Insteon Hub is available now at Walmart, Menards and Smarthome.com in the US and will also be launching soon at other major retailers including Best Buy, Microsoft Store, Home Depot, Target.com, Sears.

According to Insteon, the company's simulcast technology can simultaneously activate thousands of items from a single signal and is backward- and forward-compatible with all Insteon products.
