EngageSimply, a leading innovator of digital engagement solutions for brands and agencies, is teaming up with GENBAND, a leading global real time communications software company, to leverage GENBAND's Kandy platform to build highly intuitive, embedded multimedia experiences available on the EDEN engagement platform. GENBAND Kandy WebRTC Platform-as-a-Service powers EngageSimply's new social consumer engagement platform that serves contextual brand mapping, contextual ad serving, and contextual user experience management.

The Kandy WebRTC platform enables real time communications features through a set of APIs and a mobile SDK, providing real time high definition experiences for people to connect with each other, one-to-one, one-to-many, and many-to-many over browsers such as Chrome, Firefox and other browsers in future..

The partnership enables EngageSimply to have “early access” to the Kandy platform, which was made available in September this year. EngageSimply has been developing its platform for over a year leveraging WebRTC and has enhanced it with its own cloud and quick-start solutions, including assisted shopping and customer service.

Judy Shapiro, founder and CEO of EngageSimply
What we are inventing together is contextual, creative, and truly engaging. This is just the beginning of the sweet things we can build with Kandy.

Paul Pluschkell, Founder of Kandy
It’s amazing what EngageSimply has conceived with Kandy. Together we’re delivering experiences that go way beyond what we think of as the web today – way beyond social networking – and way beyond talking, texting and otherwise sharing. The human engagement will be so attractive to consumers who have grown weary of too much information, and would rather just have a really nice visual conversation.
