A tier 1 mobile network operator in APAC has awarded a deal worth $2M to Telco Systems as part of its large-scale network modernization that will deliver 4G/LTE services to an expanding subscriber base. The mobile operator will deploy Telco Systems’ T-Marc 3208SH advanced mobile backhaul demarcation device that will operate in a multi-vendor backhaul solution. 

Telco Systems, a BATM company and a leading provider of innovative SDN & NFV and CE 2.0 multi-service Carrier Ethernet and MPLS edge access solutions for mobile backhaul, business Ethernet services and cloud networking, said that the tier 1 mobile operator is simultaneously increasing coverage while rolling out an advanced 4G/LTE network in order to cope with the data traffic surge and to be able to launch new data services.
