AIS, the leading mobile operator in Thailand, has selected Huawei Active Antenna Unit (AAU)-based Easy Macro solution for deployment in Thailand. According to a joint statement by both companies, the solution will be deployed across the AIS network aiming to build the best Mobile Broadband (MBB) network in Thailand and enhance their user experiences.

The small form factor Easy Macro solution that belongs to the Huawei AAU family simultaneously supports both Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) and Long-Term Evolution (LTE) technologies on multi bands.
