Ericsson has formed a global partnership with TIBCO to add its middleware to Ericsson's OSS/BSS portfolio of software, consulting and systems integration services. The TIBCO software will complement Ericsson's own OSS/BSS portfolio of services in the area of charging, billing, order management, product catalog, customer relationship management and customer experience management.

Ericsson has been partnering with leading OSS/BSS software suppliers as part of its consulting and system integration engagement with world's leading customers. The company has also acquired Metratech, a metadata-based billing, commerce and settlement solution provider earlier this year, strengtening its BSS portfolio to cater for Internet of things and cloud offerings
