RSA announced a first-of-its kind technology that detects critical security threats on a user’s mobile device and restricts their ability to access corporate systems.

Called RSA Mobile Lock, it essentially contains the threat from spreading and compromising the wider network.

Why This Matters - 82% of data breaches involve a human element in play. Never more so than attacks targeting mobile users. The smartphone is the weakest point in an org’s defenses – More costly to secure and more prevalent to manage with long-term remote work and BYOD being the norm.

Key Benefits - RSA Mobile Lock is embedded in software meaning it can be deployed on millions of enterprise devices, including personal devices. It offers an easy on ramp to orgs who want to expand into BYOD instead of having to issue a dedicated phone to workers. And because the security scan is automated it removes the security burden off the users’ shoulders.
