Samsung and Kajeet announced a collaboration to deploy Kajeet’s Smart Private 5GTM Platform with Samsung’s CBRS solutions, bringing next-generation RAN and private network solutions to a range of enterprises and public service organizations.
With this agreement, Kajeet becomes an authorized distributor of Samsung’s private RAN solutions in the U.S. The agreement includes delivery of Samsung’s 5G-ready CBRS network solutions to industries where Kajeet has deep expertise in building and managing secure private 5G networks, such as: school districts, smart cities, municipalities, universities, utilities, and healthcare organizations.
These private network solutions can be customized to craft ‘Smart Everything’ solutions for vertical use cases using Kajeet’s cloud-based device, policy and network management, and leveraging Samsung’s best-in-class RAN technologies. Samsung CBRS products to be deployed by Kajeet include its Massive MIMO 64T64R macro cell and 4T4R 4G/5G radio.
CBRS – a mid-band spectrum from 3.5 GHz to 3.7 GHz – is well-suited to securely support enhanced broadband for private enterprise wireless networks, as well as enabling Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) models, providing a more cost-efficient, faster alternative to traditional wired solutions.
