Cellwize, the innovative Self-Organizing Network (SON) solutions provider, Tuesday announced that it has expanded its existing agreement with Cellcom Israel to deploy, through a dedicated innovation center, the unique capabilities of its elastic-SON™ functions.

Cellcom Israel, the nation’s largest operator and a long term partner of Cellwize, has selected the SON (Self Organizing Network) solution for its mobile network optimization efforts for improved user experience especially on it newly launched LTE and upcoming LTE-advanced networks.

Both companies will also embark on a joint Innovation Center which will enable faster and more robust quality of experience for voice, data and M2M/Internet-of-Things services throughout Cellcom Israel’s network evolution, said Cellwize.

According to Cellwize, its advanced SON solution offers possibilities for C-SON and D-SON orchestration and enables Cellcom Israel to improve network performance automatically and independently. By integrating to Cellcom's advanced network management system (NMS) and OSS for end to end customer experience monitoring, the solution intelligently optimizes across multiple technologies in the network in real-time based on the quality of experience subscribers receive.
