Allot Communications, a leading provider of deep packet inspection (DPI) and analytics solutions, Monday announced that it has received an expansion order of $15 Million from a major tier-1 operator for the Allot Service Gateway Tera, Allot ServiceProtector and Allot ClearSee Data Source solutions.
Allot's intelligent traffic steering and load balancing capabilities enable the operator to provide various value-added services, which includes safeguarding against distributed denial of service (DDoS) cyber-attacks and to provide rich data sources for different applications.
According to Allot, the Tier-1 operator selected Allot Service Gateway Tera due to its integrated services coupled with its extreme scalability, supporting high density of 10GE ports suitable for large scale networks.
