Deutsche Telekom Offers Unified Fixed, Mobile & Digital TV via MagentaEINS

Deutsche Telekom (Telekom) has launched MagentaEINS, a consolidated product platform for converged home services, enabling launches of new service packages that unify the fixed and mobile networks. Telekom's customers can enjoy quad-play services in a single offer such as fixed and mobile phones and broadband services including digital TV channels.

According to Telekom, the new portfolio represents the logical evolution of Deutsche Telekom’s integrated network strategy at the product level and makes them as Germany's first integrated telecommunications provider.

The company plans to launch a new smart device, a hybrid router later this year that will unify LTE, WLAN and fixed networks, combining speeds of up to 100 Mbps from the fixed network with up to 150 Mbps of mobile bandwidth.

"Everything we do, we do with a focus on our customers. That’s why we want to become simpler, better and more integrated. And now we’ve succeeded in doing just that: With MagentaEINS, customers get fixed and mobile networks from a single source.”
