Intel Partners Fossil to Develop Fashion Wearables

The leading chip maker, Intel is partnering with Fossil Group, a maker of smartwatches and fashion wearables to further develop wearable technology for the fashion industry. Both companies plan to leverage on their strengths to develop on emerging products and technologies for the fashion-oriented consumer, combining Intel's technology and Fossil's design capabilities to create new products and support growth of new kinds of wearables. 

In addition, Fossil Group will work closely with Intel Capital, Intel's global investment organization, to identify and evaluate co-investments in emerging technologies to accelerate industry innovation and stay at the forefront of the wearable consumer trend.
