Telstra Offers Cloud-based Unified Communications to Global Businesses

Telstra, last week announced the global offering of its Whispir Conversation Platform, a cloud-based unified communications service for enterprises that allows organisations to quickly reach and communicate with customers, employees and the community via SMS, voice, web, email, mobile data and social media networks.

The platform which enables businesses to create and automate targeted communication is made available end of last month. Telstra is currently offering the Whispir Conversation Platform to many of its enterprise and government customers in Australia and already boasts 1.6 million users.
