New Horizon Communications Selects Metaswitch for Unified Communications Portfolio and SBC

New Horizon Communications (NHC), a full service provider of voice, data and internet solutions for businesses, has selected Metaswitch to provide software and equipments for IP-based voice infrastructure, upgrading its core voice switching functionality.

Metaswicth portfolio will enable NCH to add capabilities to its newVoice services - Hosted PBX, SIP Trunking and Unified Communications (UC). NCH deploys Metaswitch's Multiservice Telephony Application Server (MTAS) for IP call control, UC, voicemail and other features.

In addition, the service provider will use Metaswitch's Accession Communicator for desktop and mobile, to deliver a rich UC experience, allowing subscribers to gracefully move calls among other Accession clients; mobile phones on 3G, 4G or Wi-Fi; and fixed-line phones -- all while the call is in progress.

Metaswitch will provide components such as its Perimeta Session Border Controller, and Metaswitch's MetaView Service Assurance Servers (SAS).

We're pleased to assist NHC in adding to its newVoice service capabilities with a flexible, IP-based network," "These new components will help NHC continue to provide exceptional service to its business customers nationwide."
