China's online retailer giant, Amazon has selected Syniverse solution to optimize customer engagement for its mobile users, supporting personalized experience through keyword campaigns and promotions.
The solution enables Amazon.cn to be able to engage with its customers in a two-way mobile messaging via SMS and allows users to opt in to receive promotion notifications and also allows new users to register for the service without providing an email address.
According to Syniverse, with the solution, Amazon.cn will be able to further tailor its communications and deliver hyperpersonalized messages including flash site sales and event notifications, special promotional offers to targeted customers, and subscription-based messages that include deal-of-the-day and product recommendations.
