Plan International, the global children's charity, has selected Teneo's SD-WAN Managed Service, combined with WAN Optimization, to improve application performance and reduce costs.

Previously, connectivity of the organization’s core applications, particularly across its remote locations, had made it difficult for the team to carry out everyday tasks.

Teneo has supported Plan International for over ten years with WAN Optimization. However, as technology has dramatically improved and bandwidth has become more affordable, the organization was keen to explore Teneo's SD-WAN Managed Services to help them deliver maximum throughput and reduce costs.

Working in close partnership, a strategy was identified that would result in significant cost savings per month and saw the Plan International team transition to the Aruba EdgeConnect SD-WAN Platform and an SD-WAN Managed Service from Teneo.

Since deployment, Plan International has quickly gained access to SD-WAN benefits with minimum risk, claims Teneo. Allowing them to select the appropriate level of support they need, Teneo guided them through SD-WAN research and implementation, filling people, skills, and knowledge gaps.

Bhavin Patel, Head of IT Infrastructure at Plan International
Our overarching goal is to provide the best user experience. Before working with Teneo, our team would often have to wait up to 50 minutes for a report, significantly impacting productivity. By working with Teneo to implement a solution, we've increased productivity and have saved both time and money. Teneo's service represents really good value.

Brett Ayres, Service Director at Teneo
We're delighted to expand our partnership with Plan International to support their network performance strategy using our SD-WAN Managed Service. We look forward to contributing towards Plan International's continued global growth.
