Tekelec will present Policy on Mobile Devices and Policy Everywhere at the Policy Control & Data Pricing conference.

Tekelec’s sessions at the event are:

"Policy on a Mobile Device” panel on April 16 at 2:55 p.m.

Mark Ventimiglia, director of strategy and innovation, will address several cost-saving and revenue-generating use cases for extending policy controls to the device. These include Wi-Fi offload and standards-compliant Access Network Discovery and Selection Function (ANDSF) capabilities, machine-to-machine (M2M) device congestion management, battery life improvement, application and service continuity and mobile advertising.

"Policy Everywhere: A Strategic Imperative for Operators to Become Digital Lifestyle Providers” on April 16 at 2 p.m.

Mike Heffner, director of product management, will discuss policy’s role as the ‘everywhere’ technology that is transforming service provider business models. As billions of smart devices become policy enforcement points and new features extend policy and analytics to over-the-top applications and mobile advertisers, Mike will describe the new business models that match subscribers to the relevant, timely content they want.
