MI-Connection Selects GLDS' OSS/BSS to Support Triple Play Services

MI-Connection, the community-owned and locally operated communications service provider serving the towns of Mooresville, Davidson and Cornelius in the counties of Mecklenburg and Iredell in North Carolina has selected a broad group of GLDS' solutions to support its Triple Play Services including Cable TV, High-Speed Internet and Phone for both residential and business customers.

GLDS (Great Lakes Data Systems), the leading provider of customer management, billing and provisioning systems for small and medium-sized broadband service providers, will provide its WinCable, a billing & service provisioning platform to support the triple play service.

In addition, MI-Connection will use GLDS's Super Controller for provisioning of triple-play services, Service Provisioning Gateway (SPG) for automated voice and data provisioning, WinForce tech™ for empowering field technicians, CableAnytime for web-based customer self-care, WinVoIP for call detail record billing, WinPay for automated payment processing, and etc.

We explored several options and GLDS offered the most comprehensive, yet affordable, customer management system. We really had our hands full migrating away from our previous platform and GLDS was polished and professional throughout the process. We're really happy with the attention we've received."

-   Alan Hall, Director of Operations, of MI-Connection

"Mi-Connection had fairly broad requirements and several of their business systems were enmeshed with legacy platforms. They had a clear vision forward and GLDS has worked tirelessly to help take their customer management infrastructure to the next level. We're especially pleased that Mi-Connection has recognized the value we bring to a project like this and we look forward to a long-lasting relationship."

-   Garrick Russell, GLDS' President
