PLDT expands its regional footprint, delivering technology solutions to Cambodia’s SINET, helping customers stream more seamlessly.

SINET, one of the biggest network service providers in Cambodia, is the latest addition to PLDT Global’s growing portfolio of international partners, serving global points-of-presence in 100 countries across Asia, Europe and the Americas.

Content Delivery Networks ensure faster access to digital content or media via web servers or points-of-presence that bring the content much closer to the end user.

With PLDT Global's CDN node, SINET can now offer CDN solutions to over-the-top (OTT) providers and other enterprises in Cambodia and other key markets in Asia. This initiative is part of the Philippines largest integrated telco PLDT's broader campaign to enable companies to digitally transform and perform despite the challenges posed by the global health crisis.

Albert V. Villa-Real, SVP and Chief Commercial Officer at PLDT Global
We at PLDT Global are committed to investing in innovative solutions to realize this mission. We are very happy to partner with SINET to strengthen our foothold in Asia as our CDN presence in Cambodia grows.

Kong Diep, Chief Technical Officer at SINET
We would like to thank PLDT Global for collaborating with us. In just a few weeks, we have noted significant increases in traffic owing to the PLDT CDN - traffic which continues to grow. Hopefully we can collaborate more and go together on this path.
