China Telecom Global Launches Cloud-Based Managed Security Service for Enterprises

China Telecom Global Limited (CTG) has introduced CTScloud (China Telecom Security Cloud)a new cloud-based Managed Security Service (MSS) for enterprises against cyber-attacks, at the RSA Conference Asia Pacific and Japan 2014 held in the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Singapore.

The solution is targeted for multi-national firms operating in China and also Chinese firms expanding their businesses globally.

Enhanced by industry-leading Customer Security Operation Center (CSOC) for global-wide 24/7 monitoring and supported by nation-wide certified security service team, the CTScloud proactively monitors and protects enterprise IT security infrastructure and information from cyber-attacks. According to CTG, the solution provides cyber security protection for online availability, parameter tampering, malware, website leeching and sensitive words of customers’ website. It detects malwares on customer's websites within minutes with more than 95% accuracy, said CTG.

The CTScloud is now available in more than 12 cities in Asia-‐Pacific, including Tokyo, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei and Seoul, and over 21 cities in China, and provided through 300 IDCs in China and overseas.

We are one of the few carriers who can provide solutions which can comply with both international and Chinese standards, and our services are also recognized by the government departments and supported with national level updates of the latest security threats. CTG helps international banking companies like Bank of Montreal to attain the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No.16 and other standards including ISO9001, ISO20000, ISO27001, PCI DSS, in addition to the Ministry of Public Security’s Information Classified Security Protection (MPS ICSP) Evaluation Standards. Chinese financial conglomerates like CITIC Group Corporation also made their global expansion leveraging CTG’s MSS for protection. ”
