eir recently announced that its 5G mobile network is now available to more than 45% of the population of Ireland, making it Ireland’s largest 5G network. 

eir has continued the expansion of Ireland's largest 5G network throughout 2020, now providing 5G coverage across 111 towns and cities across the country and in all 26 counties of the Republic of Ireland from 576 sites. This 5G network is complemented with 4G coverage across 99% of the population of Ireland. 

 

A range of 5G handsets and plans are available with eir, including eir's Mobile Connect Plus plan, which includes No Limits Data, Unlimited Calls & Texts, 100 International Minutes and Texts and access to the eir Sport App. No Limits Data means that customers will never have to worry about how they use their 5G data on Ireland's largest 5G network. Current 5G offers include the new iPhone 12, available from €49, with the Samsung S20 FE 5G, the OPPO Reno4 Z 5G and the Sony Xperia 5ii available from FREE.
