Chevrolet Brings the 'Connected Car' with Built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi
  • Chevrolet, one of the world's largest car brands with sales of more than 4.9 million cars and trucks a year launched its new campaign that introduces vehicles with built in 4G LTE Wi-Fi. The launch marks another milestone in the 'connected car' segment, part of the Internet-of-Things(IoT) where a wide range of devices and machines will connect to mobile networks, receiving and transmitting data in real time. According to Chevrolet, the built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi will be available on cars, trucks and crossovers and will enable a truly mobile Wi-Fi experience.
  • As part of its campaign, Chevrolet rolled out its advertisements on various media and participated in events which are held in conjunction with the US's Independence Day celebrations. The campaign also inlcudes partnership with the GoGo in-flight Wi-Fi that allows fliers to connect through unlimited Facebook access during flights. Apart from these, Chevrolet is also conducting awareness programs where it will share more information on the 4G technologies.

Bringing 4G LTE Wi-Fi to customers through Chevrolet cars, trucks and crossovers allows an entirely new level of connectivity in transportation."
