APAC CSP Taps Comverse Policy Manager

APAC CSP Taps Comverse Policy Manager

A major APAC communication service provider (CSP) has selected Comverse policy management software to power its expansion to multi-play services. The Comverse PCRF is selected to enable the CSP to launch its new broadband Internet service and to be integrated with the existing Kenan BSS solution.

The solution will be the backbone of the CSP’s multi-play success, providing single-source convenience for customer care and technical support, said Comverse. It added that the solution meets the CSP’s demanding requirements for advanced capabilities: dynamic quote updates, quality of service modifications, real-time alerts and notifications and more. In addition, the new platform will provide unified billing across all its products and self-service providing instant access to usage information and personalized control of service options.

Comverse’s role in the transformation of this CSP into a multi-play provider is strong validation of the flexibility and strength of our productized, modular solutions, renowned in the industry for powering smart evolution – with delivery models ranging from on-premise to cloud SaaS. Comverse’s Policy and BSS solutions will continue to be key enablers of the CSP’s growth, subscriber acquisition and continually expanding rich offering embracing the new digital lifestyle opportunities of today’s increasingly connected world.”
