Swedish Alltele Upgrades to Tilgin’s Software-Controlled Home Gateways & Remote Management Solution

Tilgin, a leading provider of solutions for multi-play and next-generation broadband, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Kista, Sweden, has signed an agreement with Alltele for the upgrade and consolidation of their auto configuration server (ACS), a software-controlled home gateway and remote management solution. The Swedish telecommunications companyTV distributor and broadband operator has upgraded to the new third generation of Tilgin’s ACS, TR-069 Auto Configuration Server solution - tGem.

According to Tilgin, the tGem provides Alltele with a comprehensive remote management platform that helps to consolidate their multiple server environment. Alltele will use tGem to achieve the provisioning and monitoring of a wide range of devices in networks inherited from Alltele’s successful acquisitions of the years.

“Tilgin’s ACS has been a perfect fit for our company through two generations and we see that its new generation will continue to serve us best. Tilgin has listened to our feedback and integrated it into their product so we have the utmost confidence in them and their solutions."

 Mikael Peterson, CTO at Alltele

"Alltele has a complex environment with a wide variety of devices from multiple vendors and heterogeneous networks. It is a real challenge for a management product to perfectly address all scenarios without requiring intensive and costly customization. I am proud to see that tGem has been up to the task and yet again been selected by Alltele. It shows tGem’s strength in the ACS market place.”

 Mats Victorin, CEO of Tilgin
