Menatelecom Bahrain, has deployed Elitecore Technologies LTE revenue and customer management platform, enabling roll-out of its LTE Network in coexistence with its existing WiMAX network. The solution supports WiMAX-to-LTE Transformation for Menatelecom by upgrading the existing Elitecore WiMAX platform to support LTE + WiMAX components and integration with 3rd party Evolved Packet Core (LTE-EPC) components.
The product portfolio offered to Menatelecom comprises of real-time, pre-integrated stack of BSS (Online Charging, Convergent Billing, Provisioning) and EPC offerings (PCRF, DSC and 3GPPAAA). Elitecore said that the solution helps the Midle East operator to speedily rollout its 4G/LTE, IMS services and enhance overall customer experience through a single convergent platform. It added that the platform facilitates smooth transition to IP-based network while providing unified controls of prepaid & postpaid services & real-time provisioning- activation for rapid customer acquisition.
