Telekom Slovenije Now Allows Subscribers to Gift Unused Data

Telekom Slovenije claims that it is the only operator in Slovenia that now allows its subscribers of most mobile plans to gift the unused gigabytes from their data allowance and share them with others.

The only condition is that the recipient of the gigabytes is a Telekom Slovenije mobile subscriber or its mobile prepaid user. They can use the extra gigabytes until the end of the month they received them.

The most popular Telekom Slovenije mobile packages provide users with carefree internet browsing, as they come with data allowances of 2 GB, 70 GB or 140 GB monthly. If a user does not spend all of their data allowance, Telekom Slovenije now allows them to simply gift the gigabytes they don’t need in a particular month to their friends, family members, coworkers etc. It is possible to transfer the allowance that is included in a package and available for use in Telekom Slovenije’s mobile network. Subscribers can transfer 1 GB, 5 GB, 10 GB or 20 GB to another user, and can do so several times per month, if they have enough unspent data allowance. This is available to residential and business customers.

Subscribers can gift their gigabytes by using My Telekom – customer site service or simply sending a text message.  A subscriber is free to gift the gigabytes included in their data allowance (but not any additional data plans), and the service is available free of charge. Mobile subscribers of Telekom Slovenije can transfer gigabytes to others, while prepaid users can only receive them.
