ipoque, Napatech Release Case Study for Security Performance

ipoque and Napatech jointly release a new case study titled “Lancope Accelerates Security Performance and Time-to-Market with Dell, ipoque and Napatech", detailing on how Dell OEM, ipoque and Napatech combine forces to address Lancope’s need for increased performance, deeper insight and faster time-to-marketThe case study covers the recent market introduction of the Lancope StealthWatch FlowSensor 4000.

  • According to a statement, the network security challenge addressed by Lancope is to detect and prevent attacks in real time using a holistic approach to network security based on analysis of data flows. The challenge faced by Lancope was to increase the performance of the StealthWatch FlowSensor 4000, ensure layer 7 application visibility and make this possible on a standard server with full outsourced integration.

“Dealing with the increasing volume of network traffic and potential security threats is a challenge facing every enterprise and network operator. The challenge is even greater thanks to the trend of encryption, which makes it more difficult to identify Layer 7 applications in real time. ipoque's PACE advanced DPI technology uses multiple sophisticated techniques to ensure a high application detection rate together with a high throughput, thanks to our close relationship with Napatech and Dell."

- Eias Daka, Head of Strategic Alliance, ipoque

“The collaboration of Dell OEM, Napatech and ipoque in meeting Lancope’s needs for better performance and faster time-to-market is a perfect example of a successful partnership. At Napatech, we focus on helping our customers stay one step ahead of the networks they need to manage and protect. Having the right partners that can help us provide complete solutions that meet our customers’ needs is an important part of our focus.”

- Erik Norup, President and CMO, Napatech
