Syniverse said it is working with NTT DOCOMO to help improve mobile users’ experience when roaming and seeking global connectivity service.

Syniverse has developed Syniverse Mobile Policy Control Center and integrated it as a core service to help NTT DOCOMO mobile users. This roaming data management platform gives service providers the capability to offer data packs based on service preference, duration, monetary value or geography.

Mobile Policy Control Center, a cloud-based and managed service, provides a flexible solution that enables service providers to offer multiple prepaid and postpaid roaming packages to reach new markets quickly and cost-effectively. Mobile users have the capability to access real-time roaming usage information anytime and anywhere, which offers a powerful tool to help prevent bill shock and allow users to control their data roaming experience. Mobile Policy Control Center also helps operators control wholesale costs and contributes to improved roaming profits.
