Allot Receives $5M Order from T1 MNO for Deep Packet Inspection

A Tier-1 operator has selected Allot Service Gateway Tera, adding service enablement capabilities preparing for a large-scale subscriber offering. Allot said that the $5M order is 5th for the deep packet inspection platform from Tier-1 customers since the beginning of the year.

Operators can use this platform to efficiently deliver a range of value-based services to millions of subscribers in high-speed networks. The Allot Service Gateway Tera provides service providers with access to real-time traffic management, video optimization, policy enforcement, application-based charging, security services, value-added services and network analytics - allowing operators to expand connectivity and adapt to changing market needs, it added.

With the growing demand for digital lifestyle services amongst customers, service providers need a high-powered platform, which allows them to rollout new large-scale service offerings quickly"
