Orange’s fibre offers are already available for 12 million homes and business premises and it will further expand the service throughout the country.
The Operator will soon be offering its services as an Internet Service Provider (ISP) on all Public Initiative Networks (PIN) deployed in France, irrespective of the infrastructure operator which deployed the network.
Through this decision, all residents and professionals living in areas covered by Public Initiative Networks, deployed by Orange or by third-party operators, will progressively be able to take advantage of Orange’s fibre offers. Orange’s fibre offers are already available to over 500,000 homes and business premises in PIN areas. This will increase to nearly three million eligible connections by the end of 2019.
In doing so, Orange will be able to offer its solutions to a much wider public, in both rural and urban areas. Wherever fibre optic networks are deployed, customers will be able to choose Orange’s commercial offers to connect to the Internet.

Residents and businesses in small towns and rural areas will be the first to benefit from this acceleration plan. Thanks to this plan, two million people living in PIN areas where fibre has been deployed by third parties will soon be able to access "La Fibre Orange" offers by the end of 2019.
