Procera Bags $3.5 Million from Two New Tier 1 Service Providers in APAC

Procera Networks has received orders worth approximately $3.5 million from two Tier 1 service providers that represent new customers in the Asia Pacific region for its Network Quality Assurance and Service Plan Assurance technologies. The solutions enable the APAC operators to monitor their networks in real-time and ensure that subscriber experience is maintained, even during peak usage times.

According to Procera, the operators conducted thorough evaluations and selected Procera’s PacketLogic platform for its ability to deliver the high capacity required to scale network performance above 100Gbps at present, and to continue scaling over the next few years. The operators selected Procera’s PacketLogic platform and displaced a long-term incumbent vendor to deliver a better subscriber experience, it added.

"The PacketLogic platform continues to be the highest performing real-time policy enforcement and Internet intelligence gathering platform available today,” said Johan Wikenstedt, vice president of sales, APAC for Procera. “Procera was selected by this operator due to our ability to deliver proven high performance, scalable solutions that enable multi-access service providers and converged broadband operators to grow their user base and revenues for many years to come.”

- Johan Wikenstedt, Vice President of Sales, APAC, Procera
