Two years after its creation, LUCA, Telefónica's Data Unit has brought its multi-sectoral big data offering solutions to more than 20 countries where it has worked with more than 150 corporate customers in over 200 projects.

At the same time, Telefónica has expedited the integration of Artificial Intelligence in its Big Data solutions for companies. LUCA's multi-sectoral Big Data offering is evolving with the integration of new advanced analytic capabilities thanks to technologies such as machine and deep learning and leveraged on Telefónica’s Fourth Platform where all the data generated by its customers by using the products and services of the company is normalised and processed, guarantying its privacy and security. 

In October 2016, LUCA was created with the purpose to accompany its corporate customers in their digital transformation, helping them to exploit all the potential of the data.
