COMPRION, a leading eSIM test solutions vendor is introducing a test eSIM (also known as test eUICC) for M2M devices.

The test eSIM for M2M is to ensure that switching to another MNO and the related Remote SIM Provisioning (RSP) work reliably, as more and more M2M devices will be with an eSIM. This enables mobile network operators and infrastructure suppliers to test the interoperability of the included components in the eUICC M2M environment during product development and integration.

Why Use a Test eSIM? Running RSP functions is protected by credentials that are normally not known to the user. As the COMPRION Test eUICC M2M is personalized with test certificates and test keys, it allows the tester to set up an RSP test infrastructure. This means that defined procedures for the remote provisioning and management of the embedded UICC (eUICC) can be executed in a test environment.

The test eUICC for M2M is already the second test eSIM in the COMPRION test card portfolio. Earlier this year, COMPRION already introduced a test eUICC for consumer devices.
