Sandvine, a leading provider of Network Intelligence solutions, announced that it has been awarded a $10M initial order from a Tier 1 APAC fixed operator.

The operator will be using Sandvine’s solutions to initially provide Revenue Generation capabilities, but will evolve to include AnalyticsNetwork Security, and Network Optimization use cases.  

The Revenue Generation use case that will be deployed is Advanced Data Services, where the Sandvine solution will be used for charging based on usage for subscribers. The unique capabilities that drove the operator to deploy Sandvine for this use case were multi-100GE performance, multi-system scalability, and the capability to add new use cases in the future. 

Sandvine provides a standards-compliant, complete platform, with integrated PCRF and PCEF functions, that allows network operators to launch market-leading services.
