Clavister announced that its Virtual Security Solution for Communication Service Providers (CSPs), has been selected by a South-east Asian government agency for infrastructure security.

Headquartered in Sweden, Clavister delivers a full range of network security solutions for both physical and virtualized environments.

The infrastructure, a Bluelight system, protects public safety and crisis information flows using a mobile platform. The first order is a small proof-of-concept order, but is anticipated to grow as per experience from other orders of similar construction, says Clavister.

This order is a very meaningful one in that it shows that the Clavister virtual security solution is also chosen for telecom use cases outside the typical commercial mobile networks.

While the initial customers were traditional commercial mobile operators, with this order, we now see deployments of Clavister’s virtualized security technology in other telecom use cases be that public safety, critical infrastructure or other areas.
